I watched Nodame Cantabile because TVXQ’s Shim Changmin said it is his favorite Japanese drama. Yes, my initial reason for watching it is shallow but I have a lot more reasons why I loved this drama. Despite the over the top acting which is expected for live-action dramas such as this, I can say that everything is very well polished. The choice of music is superb and I learned a lot about classical music. Even though you are not a lover of this type of music, you will, without a choice, learn something about it in a not so boring way. Plus, I loved the fact that whenever the actors play the instruments like the piano or violin, it seemed as if they were really the ones playing. The question crossed my mind a lot of times but I just told myself that whether or not they are the ones playing, it doesn’t matter as long as they look believable.

And even though Chiaki is such a snob, I can’t help but love him here. He is such a talented guy and I admittedly like geniuses. So there… I hope you will enjoy this drama as much as I did.

After narrowly escaping death from the fire, KSS recuperates in the hospital. Cyrus informs her that Hannah is now in jail.

Cyrus and KSS visit Hannah in jail. Hannah asks for forgiveness and tells them that she’s finally realized that Cyrus is really in love with KSS. KSS forgives her and Cyrus tells her that they won’t file any case against her on one condition.

Hannah is now out of jail. She decides to go back to the US and in return, Cyrus and KSS won’t push through with the charges against her. Henry wants to go with her.

KSS was just dreaming that Hannah was pouring acid over her face.

Mrs. Ruiz consults a fortune teller, who foresees that Cyrus will be married, and the couple will be happy. But she also says that a tragedy will occur, and it will brought about by a spurned woman who doesn’t want the wedding to push through.

Marcus arrives and tells Mrs Ruiz that he has received bad news from Cyrus.

Kokoy and Eliza go on a date in a posh restaurant.

Dodong finally gets to talk to Sonia. He tells her that it was his twin brother whom he saw with another girl. Dodong is disappointed that she didn’t trust him.

KSS and Cyrus are at the restaurant. KSS seems to be distracted. She tells Cyrus that she thinks someone wants to hurt her and that she was almost ran over the previous night.

Amber visits Cyrus at the hospital. She asks KSS how her uncle is doing and KSS tells her that he hasn’t woken up yet.

Amber walks up to Cyrus. She writes something on her notebook but Cyrus, who’s still in a coma, could not read the message. Amber starts to speak to wake him up. KSS and Mrs. Ruiz are surprised to hear Amber talking. After a while, Cyrus wakes up.

While the doctor talks to Cyrus, KSS sneaks out of the room. He looks for her and learns that her wedding did not push through.
