For drama otakus like me, it’s pretty interesting to see the anime versions of Japanese live action dramas. And there are a number out there since Jdoramas are mostly taken from mangas.

Hana Yori Dango, for example, has three live action drama versions, two live action movies, an animated feature movie and an anime series. That’s how popular it is.

Nodame Cantabile, another popular manga was also made into a live action drama, an anime and I’ve heard that they’re making a live action movie. More Chiaki-senpai goodness, yay!

I really had a hard time looking for this soundtrack since it was not uploaded in the most common download sites that I usually visit.   When I finally found it, it took me two days to download it from d-addicts due to lack of seeders.  I decided to re-upload this soundtrack so that those interested will have an easier time than me. =D

Takemoto eyes the prizes in the upcoming lottery draw.

Back at the university, Morita and Mayama force Takemoto to wear an armored suit so he could take peep inside a nude art class. However, Takemoto gets distracted by Hagumi. Morita and Mayama set off the fire alarm and everyone scrams, even Takemoto who is still wearing the armor, causing everyone to panic.

While Takemoto is being scolded by Shouda-sensei, Morita teaches Hagumi the “Comenich” move.

Morita plans to win the lottery through counterfeit tickets. He fails to appease Takemoto who is still terribly embarassed by the nude art class scandal. However, Takemoto cheers up when Hanamoto-sensei asks him to take Hagumi to the home center.

On the way to the home center, Takemoto and Hagumi meet Yamada’s father who’s the head of the neighborhood council for the shopping street and is in charge of the annual lottery.

* Honey and Clover is a drama adaptation of the Japanese manga Hachimitsu to Kuroba. It was first aired in FujiTV from January to March 2008.

It’s spring time and cherry blossoms are all over Hamadayama Art University where we meet Takemoto Yuta, a third year architecture major.

Takemoto sees Hanamoto Hagumi picking up cherry blossoms beside the pond. Hagumi is a freshman student who went to Tokyo to study oil painting. Takemoto is taken by Hagumi although he fails to speak to her. Before leaving, Takemoto loses a button from his sweatshirt.

Takemoto’s friends, Morita Shinobu from the Sculpture Department and Mayama Takumi from Architecture Department drag him to get a taste of the legendary Sangaku curry. The curry is prepared by the Sangaku club members and is served only to freshmen students. His friends think Takemoto could pass off as a new student but he gets caught.

Refusing to give up, Takemoto, Morita and Mayama sneak inside Sangaku Club’s headquarters to get some curry only to be discovered by their other friend Yamada Ayumi from the Pottery Department.
