Kim Joon’s visit to RP is cancelled

As announced by BOFPH, Kim Joon’s scheduled visit to the Philippines was cancelled at the last minute because of his health condition.

There were supposed to be two events today. The morning event is the opening ceremony where Kim Joon would be appointed as an honorary ambassador. The afternoon event was supposed to be a fan signing event with the fans. However, due to Kim Joon’s illness (he was diagnosed with H1N1), he was not able to travel.

Due to this unfortunate circumstance, the afternoon event was cancelled while the morning event pushed through, with the executive producer of Boys Over Flowers as a guest. I have yet to see photos from the event but it was announced that there will be gifts for the attendees.

Hopefully, Kim Joon and the rest of the BOF gang will still visit their fans here in the near future. As for Kim Joon, let’s all hope he’s doing better. What’s up with these K-pop stars and H1N1 anyway?

Is Prince Song coming to the Philippines?

Just this afternoon, I got really psyched as I got wind of the news that Kim Joon, who played the role of Song Woo Bin, one of the Korean F4 on Boys Over Flowers is coming to the Philippines to hold a meet and greet with the fans of the hit Korean drama on November 30. To coordinate the details about the fan event, Group 8, the producers of the drama contacted the BOFPH admin. Only 55 members of the BOF fan club will be able to join the intimate gathering and so the tickets would have to be raffled among the BOFPH members.

Although I registered for the raffle, I had to think of a back up plan so I immediately texted a friend from ABS-CBN if there will be a separate interview or event that they’ll be sponsoring just like the one they did when Kim Bum arrived here. Apparently, The Buzz was planning to interview Kim Joon. However, my friend texted back that due to H1N1 precautions, they decided to cancel the interview. I immediately thought that they were just being cautious since I knew that Kim Joon became ill recently. But then tonight I read this.

As much as I want to see Prince Song in the flesh, the guy needs a lot of rest. However, fans like me would still love to see him even on a later date. Let’s just cross our fingers.

We’ll keep you posted about the fan meeting. Meanwhile, get well soon Prince Song!

More Kim Bum Spazzing

We will be adding more photos in a while so please do visit us again. The photos and videos are of poor quality because digital cameras and video cameras were strictly prohibited during the event.

Despite feeling a bit under the weather, I just need to get all these left over spazzes out of my system.

As Hanneebuff said, we did get to see Kim Bum in the flesh and I’m going to tell you how we got Lady Luck on our side.

Like most of you, we only got to know about Bummie’s arrival last Wednesday when Hanneebuff got a phone call from a friend. You can only imagine how stressed out we were what with the typhoon and office work and trying to find a way to get to see him. A good friend offered to get us in on Bummie’s scheduled visit to ABS-CBN and so we were ecstatic. Anyway, that night we tried to snoop around and do some stalking but to no avail, hehe.

Around noon last Friday, Hanneebuff saw this just a few minutes after it was posted. We immediately sent our contact details and crossed our fingers. And we did get the slots. Problem was the organizers said the event might be postponed because of the bad weather. Still we hoped it would push through.

Our prayers were answered when Saturday morning, the typhoon changed its course and did not directly hit Metro Manila. We were happy for the typhoon victims and that also meant we would get some Kim Bum action. Yay!

After buying some goods that we would bring with us to donate to the typhoon victims under Kim Bum’s name, we proceeded to the ABS-CBN compound. I’ve been there before but it was several years back and so much has changed so we got lost looking for the audience entrance. Hanneebuff saw some of her friends from BOFPH who were lined up to see Kim Bum on E-Live.

When we got to the audience entrance, there were already a few people lined up outside and we learned that they were those who weren’t lucky as us to get tickets to the event but wanted to try their luck anyway.

After dropping our donation we lined up to get our names checked. It was a good 30 minutes before we got our tickets. We then lined up for another hour or so, waiting to be seated. I was hungry and lacked sleep but we were in high spirits, plus fangirls would scream once in a while to get me all hyped up.

And then Kim Bum walked by dressed in what looked like gym clothes. He had on a blue pair of jogging pants and a black jacket, I think. He was a few meters away but we saw his usual bedimpled smile. The fans went wild.

After what seemed like forever, we walked to the Dolphy Theater where they gave each of us a poster of Dream. We were seated at the upper level of the theater since the ABS-CBN employees and their guests got the prime seats at the lower level, which I thought was a load of bull since we were supposed to be the “winners” of the online thingy. Anway, as they say, beggars can’t be choosers so we had to content ourselves with at least having a good view of the stage, or so we thought.

Later on we were asked whether we wanted to see Kim Bum while he passes by to go to the theater. Problem was once we leave, there won’t be any assurance that we would get our seats back. Hanneebuff decided to stay to reserve our seats and I went with the others to see Bummie up close.

More waiting ensued and at this point I was just so exhausted and losing my patience with the organizers. They were just too strict. We were warned not to step on the red carpet or else we’ll be booted out. They also told us not to use our digital cameras because they said Bummie wasn’t feeling too well. That excuse sounded too diva-ish for me so I don’t think there’s any truth to that. At the last minute they allowed us to use our cameras provided we don’t use them inside the theater.

And then he arrived….

We ran (yes, literally we ran) back to the theater since the interview was about to begin. Lights were already set up at the stage, blocking our view. From our seats, we could only see Ruffa Gutierrez who was practicing her spiels.

And this was when we really got lucky. Hanneebuff decided that we should just leave our seats and just stand by the side of the stage. When she got there, there were two empty seats at the front row waiting for us. Yay!

Kim Bum arrived with the interpreter and so the interview began.

Ruffa G kept on calling him Kim Buhm. Bummer.

Bummie was asked about his latest drama Dream, his album in Japan, his popularity, and of course about his relationship with Kim So Eun (Soeulmates unite!). Honestly the interview was a blur to me since I was just astounded at how good looking yet utterly shy he was. Plus they only had lapels on so we could barely hear them. From the front row, I could hear Bummie speaking in Korean, though.

There was a cute portion when Ruffa asked him to say “Hi Ruffa and Ai” and he thought “Ai” meant “I” so he was confused and pointed to himself. Cuteness overload.

Once in a while he would wave and smile shyly to the audience. Hanneebuff waved and he waved back. Squeee!!!

The interview lasted only about 30 minutes and Kim Bum walked to the front of the stage to wave to his fans. I noticed how really small his face was and that he had his Yi Jung hair back.

And that was our pretty cool Kim Bum experience. Though exhausted, we squeed our way back.

Kim Bum tapes interview for The Buzz

Mytor and I got the chance to see Kim Bum in flesh today despite the heavy rains and all that jazz. Truly, the long 4-hour wait was worth it most especially when he flashed his million-dollar smile.

Cameras were not allowed in the venue and my camphone sucked in taking pictures. Maybe it was the bright studio lighting so most of the time, Kimbum was overexposed. =(

Anyway, Kimbum was really good looking and tall. Do I need to say that I love his smile? We watched him do his pre-taped interview with Ruffa Gutierrez for The Buzz tomorrow and even Ruffa was mesmerized by his dimpled smile. I was not really able to hear everything since there was not a microphone and it was not a meet and greet event so I strained my ears trying to hear everything.

So far, I remember him saying that he loved the Philippines (we love you too!) and that he’s happy by the support that Boys Over Flowers received here in our country. He also said that he’s single but in good terms with Kim So Eun (our Soeul ship is still floating!). There were also rumors that he plans to release an album in Japan but he said that he wanted to concentrate on his acting more. There was also this cute moment when he was asked to say Hello to Ruffa and Ai (something to that effect) and then he got confused because Ai sounded like “I” so he pointed to himself. It was really a kawaii moment. He also promoted his newest drama Dream which will start airing in ABS-CBN soon. Before he left, he stood up and walked closer to us fans though he did not shake hands with anyone because I can’t imagine what would have happened if he did.

That’s it for now. I just want to release all these energy within me. Mytor and I really got lucky this time. We were just supposed to seat at the 2nd level but then we realized that we wouldn’t be able to see him with the lights blocking our view. I decided that we should just try standing at the first level but then, the coordinators signaled that there were two empty seats in the first row so we were able to seat there. Mytor and I were elated. Thank you Lord.

Bummie’s looking a bit haggard, don’t you think? Still cute though. And we love him even more for wanting to make a personal donation to the typhoon victims.

Breaking News!!! Kim Bum is in the Philippines

Sporting his latest look from his drama Dream, Boys Over Flowers star Kim Bum or better known as playboy So Yi Jung just arrived here in Manila at 11:00am to the surprise and delight of his Filipino fans.

He is scheduled to have a commercial shoot with ABS-CBN star Maja Salvador for RC Cola and also have a meet and greet for his fans.

BOF Holds First Premium Event in Japan

Due to the extreme popularity of Boys Over Flowers in Japan, an additional premium event was scheduled yesterday at the Yokohama National University Hall. Around 4,000 Japanese fans got to see the whole cast except for Kim Bum and Go Hye Sun who were not available but will join the premium event today, September 6.

Japanese fans were delighted as the cast answered questions posed by the Japanese MCs. Kim Hyun Joong even conversed using the Japanese language. Lee Min Ho surprised the fans by singing “My Everything” which was used as an insert song in the BOF Japanese broadcast. In addition, Kim Joon with the other T-Max members sang “Paradise” and “Say Yes” giving the audience a good dose of Kpop music.

Please check our site for another update on today’s Premium Event that will happen at 6:00pm. Hopefully, we will see our favorite pairings Junpyo-Jandi and Soeulmates interact today since Hye Sun and Kim Bum will be there.

What’s Up With Lee Min Ho?

And I’m back. Yay!

The past three weeks have been grueling for me but enough about that. There’s so much to write about but what better way to start blogging again than to write about my beloved flower boy Lee Min Ho. Honestly, I’m starting to get tired of seeing him on CFs because I need my drama fix now and I’m still contemplating on whether I’m going to watch Boys Over Flowers again, for the nth time. I want to move forward to better things and better dramas I hope. So what’s up with my guy?

First off, Lee Min Ho just released a photo book entitled “Travel With Minho.” It contains photos of Min Ho in some beautiful locations while shooting scenes from his dramas, films and CFs I suppose. It’s being peddled as a travel sketch since Min Ho took some time from his break to write to his fans. I want this so bad but I probably have to wait since it’s only available in Japan and Korea (boo hoo!). For more details about the photo book, check this out.

Next, and I don’t know if I’m supposed to be happy about this bit of news…Min Ho shot another Cass Beer CF, this time with 2NE1’s Sandara Park! Can you believe that? I was hyperventilating when I read that the two were spotted filming in Kangnam, Seoul today. Min Ho apparently likes 2NE1’s song I Don’t Care and he actually listened to it more than 75 times. I like Sandara but I don’t know if I like her enough to let her ride in a red sports car with Min Ho even if it’s just for a CF. Hot guy in a hot car. Now I hate her. Kidding, she’s a sweet girl.

Okay that’s enough cause I might not be able to get a wink of sleep with all this pent up Minoz excitement. Watch out for Min Ho’s photo book and new Cass CF soon.

Spotted: F2 and Jan Di in SS501’s Concert

Lee Min Ho, Goo Hye Sun and Kim Bum reunited to show support for their Boys Over Flowers co-star and friend Kim Hyun Joong who’s back in the concert scene with his group SS501. Sweet!

The threesome were seen together watching SS501’s concert at the Olympic Park Gymnastics Stadium in Seoul. I read that Kim Joon was supposed to show up too but unfortunately his musical Youth March had a show running.

SS501 will also visit Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand for their Asia Tour Concert.
