Abe Tsuyoshi who rose to fame as Akira in Hana Yori Dango tied the knot last Sunday with Chinese actress Shi Ke.
They first met in the set of the movie “Stand in Love” in 2006 where they both played key roles. Abe is 26 while Shi Ke is 29.
Because Shi Ke is based in Beijing while Abe is in Japan, the couple opted to having virtual dates instead through the internet.
Abe, who has a Chinese-Japanese heritage, is also known in China as Li Zhendong. His wife will take a break from her acting career to join him in Japan.
