As announced by BOFPH, Kim Joon’s scheduled visit to the Philippines was cancelled at the last minute because of his health condition.

There were supposed to be two events today. The morning event is the opening ceremony where Kim Joon would be appointed as an honorary ambassador. The afternoon event was supposed to be a fan signing event with the fans. However, due to Kim Joon’s illness (he was diagnosed with H1N1), he was not able to travel.

Kpop and Korean drama lovers are all invited to attend the very FIRST PHILIPPINE KPOP CONVENTION on December 5, 2009 at Starmall, Alabang.  A whole day of fun activities (Fanclub Activity Booths, Calligraphy, Henna Tattoo) and exciting prizes await everyone who will come to the event.

Just this afternoon, I got really psyched as I got wind of the news that Kim Joon, who played the role of Song Woo Bin, one of the Korean F4 on Boys Over Flowers is coming to the Philippines to hold a meet and greet with the fans of the hit Korean drama on November 30. To coordinate the details about the fan event, Group 8, the producers of the drama contacted the BOFPH admin. Only 55 members of the BOF fan club will be able to join the intimate gathering and so the tickets would have to be raffled among the BOFPH members.

It is quite obvious that Mytor and I are You’re Beautiful addicts ne? And thanks to my fangirl friend Pao who is currently enjoying the freezing weather in Seoul,  I was able to visit the place where most scenes in Episode 6 of YB were shot — Myeong Dong, Seoul.

Awww. I’m gonna miss them.

As we told you, the cast of You’re Beautiful were in Japan to shoot their final episode. As part of that, the fictitious idol group A.N.JELL, composed of Jang Geun Suk, Park Shin Hye, Jung Yong Hwa and Lee Hong Ki had an autograph signing session with the Japanese fans. The group then went back to Seoul and held a mini concert with thousands of fans acting as their audience.

The band played songs from the original soundtrack of You’re Beautiful including the uberly addicting “Promise,” Jang Geun Suk’s solo “Goodbye” and Park Shin Hye’s “Lovely Day.”

Good thing HamTun237@youtube posted some fancam videos from the mini-concert. Don’t forget to tune in to SBS this Wednesday and Thursday for the final episodes of You’re Beautiful.
